In today’s special episode, I’m joined by my dear friend and co-facilitator Heather Whitehouse—an intuitive healer and Akashic Records practitioner—for a heartfelt conversation on healing our inner wounded warrior through astrology, soul memory, and plant rituals.

We’re sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into our upcoming workshop, Healing the Wounded Warrior: Chiron, the Akashic Records & Herbal Remedies, which will be held on Friday, April 25th, at Eclipse Holistic Living in Glastonbury, Connecticut, and stream live on Zoom.
Together, we’ll explore:
What the Akashic Records are and how they reveal your soul’s journey
The role of Chiron in your birth chart and how it reflects your core emotional wounds
And how the healing power of herbs can support your path back to wholeness
So, whether you’re deep in your healing work or just starting to explore your cosmic blueprint, this episode reminds you that your wounds do not define you—they initiate you.

🌿My Garden Journal – A How-To Garden Book for Kids
Because every gardener starts with a single seed—and a little curiosity.
Gardening is a learned skill, and the best way to grow confidence is by getting your hands in the soil and keeping track of your journey along the way. My Garden Journal is part how-to guide, part creative keepsake—designed to help kids (and their grown-ups) learn the basics of growing food and flowers while documenting their progress.
Inside, you’ll find simple tips on the how, when, and where of planting, plus room to explore your garden with drawings, photos, and notes. It even includes fun themed garden ideas—like a Harry Potter-inspired Herb Garden, a Young Chef’s Garden, or a Monarch Butterfly Superhero Garden for little pollinator protectors.
It is perfect for homeschooling families, budding herbalists, or anyone looking to connect with nature in a fun, hands-on way.
✨ You'll be amazed at how much you (and your garden) grow when you journal the journey.
Today’s episode is about renewal, and how herbs can support your body as we move from winter’s stillness into the energy of spring.
We’ll discuss how spring affects our bodies energetically and physically, how traditions like Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda view this season, and, of course, which herbs can help you align with the season of growth, clarity, and movement.

Valentine's Day is just a couple of days away, and this show is about the holiday from a woman's perspective, whether you are in a relationship or not. I've been married for almost 30 years, and I want to put the holiday into perspective. My friends and I discuss the unrealistic expectations set by society and the impact they can have on mental health.
The greeting card industry created Valentine's Day as a marketing ploy and its history, including the concept of aphrodisiacs. Brenda's guest mentions that she creates boundaries for herself and celebrates the holiday in a more meaningful and personal way, with her family and in a cozy manner.
The show also gets into the topic of aphrodisiacs and the concept of herbal actions related to aphrodisiacs. I share different cultures, including the Greeks and the Chinese, who have documented their beliefs in aphrodisiacs and the use of herbal remedies.

After she was born, we discovered she was allergic to commercial soap and cleaning products, and so my journey in making my products began.
My journey into making my skincare products wasn't something I had planned. It was a necessity. Shortly after my daughter was born, we learned she suffered a stroke while I was carrying her. And no one knew it! After she was born, we discovered she was allergic to commercial soap and cleaning products, and so my journey in making my products began.
Now, 25 years later, I've turned my passion into a business called Farm to Bath. I've created a free Skincare Checklist using the products in the video. Click on the link below to download.

Videos I Recommend Watching
Dr. Jason Fung: Different Ways to Fast for Weight Loss
There are many different ways to fast. Classic intermittent fasting only allows water. But, for weight loss, there are many different variations of fasting that produce great results. Dr. Jason Fung discusses 8 different ways that you can change up your fasting routine for weight loss.
Dr. Jason Fung’s 6 Part Lecture Series On Obesity – (2013 Lecture Series)
The Obesity Code Lecture (Why do we get Fat?) Part 1
Unlocking the code of why obesity became such a massive epidemic since the 1970s. A scientific exploration with a surprising conclusion of how obesity developed. Practical tips on weight management and good health. Why calorie counting fails for many people. For more see
Hormones in Weight Loss (The Obesity Code Lecture part 2)
Insulin and cortisol are key hormones in weight loss. Our body gains or loses fat based on the hormonal instructions we give it. When insulin is high, we store fat. We discuss why the Atkins diet lost popularity for a time and why it rebounded in new forms. The role of the stress hormone cortisol in weight loss.
Reversing Insulin Resistance (The Obesity Code Lecture part 3)
Exploring the role of insulin resistance and diet. How hormonal obesity theory explains the epidemiology of obesity.
Fructose and Fasting (The Obesity Code Lecture 4)
Why fructose and sugar intake plays such a major role in weight gain and diabetes. Intermittent fasting is a great method of reversing insulin resistance and losing weight.
Diet and Disease (The Obesity Code Lecture part 5)
Exploring the link between diet and disease. How are diabetes, heart disease, stroke, obesity, and cancer linked to our diet? Understanding this association leads to fascinating new treatment possibilities.
Reviews primitive cultures who were healthy until westernized with highly refined foods. These cultures ate high fat and carbohydrate diets and had the lowest insulin numbers and were healthy with little disease.
Is eating saturated fat bad for us? Does eating fat cause obesity? Heart disease? Stroke? How did we become so fat phobic? Are vegetable oils healthy? A critical look at the wealth of scientific data suggests that eating fat (total) and saturated fat might actually protect us from disease.
